Abe Lagrimas, Jr. is a multi-instrumentalist and 15-year veteran player who is primarily known as a jazz drummer and vibraphonist, yet has a thriving career as a ukulele player. The Hawaii-bred 2012 Jazz Drums player and competitor attended Berklee College of Music as a drum set principal on a scholarship. His Michael Jackson tribute album "Solo Ukulele - The King of Pop" won a Na Hoku Hanohano Music Award in 2011 and he just releases his brand new CD titled "Rhythm & Uke". In addition to teaching a roster of private students for the past 12 years, Abe has written instructional ukulele books for Hal Leonard Publishing and Consonus Music Institute.
