Alan McCarthy

Alan McCarthy has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and companies. Alan currently works at Fenergo as the VP Client Services EMEA, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to that, they served as the VP Professional Services & Customer Success EMEA from January 2020 to May 2023. Alan also worked as the Programme Director - EMEA at Fenergo from August 2018 to January 2020.

Before joining Fenergo, Alan worked at Accenture as a Senior Manager - Robotics from May 2016 to July 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Citi as a Programme Manager, where they managed the Robotic Process Automation Programme for Citi Treasury and Trade Services globally. Alan also served as the Mass Payments Programme Manager, overseeing the integration of Oracles Flexcube Unified Payments Module to deliver a Mass Payments capability across Global, Regional, and Local applications in Central, Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa.

Alan also has experience working at AIB Corporate, Institutional & Commercial Banking, where they held the positions of Senior Project Manager from October 2004 to June 2013 and Project Manager from August 2000 to October 2004. Alan started their career at Misys Banking Systems as a Product Consultant from June 1998 to July 2000.

Alan McCarthy attended University College Cork from 1994 to 1998. Alan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Computer Science & Economics during this time. Later, they attended Dublin Business School from 2005 to 2006, where they pursued a Diploma in Financial Management (DipFM) with a focus on Risk & Performance Management and Financial Strategy.
