Padraig Buckley

Padraig Buckley has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Padraig most recently worked at Fenergo since 2017, starting as a UX Designer and then transitioning to Product Analyst. Currently, Padraig holds the position of Product Owner at Fenergo since April 2022.

Before Fenergo, Padraig worked at Version 1 from 2014 to 2017, where they started as a Business Analyst. In this role, they aided the delivery of a significant digital transformation project for a financial institution. Padraig facilitated requirement workshops, engaged with stakeholders, and led analysis, design, and testing for a robotics implementation that resulted in cost savings. Padraig also contributed to initiatives aimed at simplifying operations and reducing risk. During their time at Version 1, Padraig also served as a UX Consultant and Front End Developer.

Prior to Version 1, Padraig worked as a Visio, Access, and Excel Tutor at University College Cork, Ireland (UCC) from 2012 to 2014. In this role, they taught students system analysis and design techniques, as well as how to use MS Access.

In 2012, Padraig gained experience as a Technical Intern at Fidelity Investments, where they worked as a Business Analyst on various tasks. These included UI design, assisting with a SharePoint migration project, and recording meeting notes.

Padraig Buckley has an extensive education history, starting with their Master's Degree in Business Information Systems, which they obtained from University College Cork in 2013-2014. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate degree, a BSc (HONS) in Business Information Systems, at the same university from 2009 to 2013.

Before attending University College Cork, Padraig Buckley studied at Coachford College from 2003 to 2009. There, they completed the Leaving Certificate program and achieved an impressive 485 points. Their areas of study during this time included English, Irish, French, Maths, Design & Communication Graphics, Geography, and Physics.

In addition to their formal education, Padraig Buckley has also obtained various certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. These include completing courses such as Learning Design Sprints and Product Management First Steps from LinkedIn in September 2020, as well as Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript & CSS3 from Microsoft and User Experience Training Course from UXTraining.ie, both in December of 2014.
