Harkishan Jashnani, M. Eng, P. Eng, is an experienced engineering professional specializing in power systems and project management. Currently serving as a Project Engineer & Manager at SunEdison since August 2015, Harkishan oversees the engineering of 44kV small ground mount solar (PV) generation plants. Previously, Harkishan held the position of Project Engineer at SunEdison, where responsibilities included formulating technical scopes for PV solar generation and ensuring compliance with local standards. Prior work experience includes roles as an Electrical Engineer at GENIVAR, where engineering studies and designs for renewable energy projects were conducted, and as a Consultant at Power Factor Services, focusing on power quality studies and power factor correction. Harkishan’s career began at The Dharamsi Morarji Chemical Company, leading the electrical department of a chemical process plant. Harkishan holds a Master of Engineering in Power Systems Engineering from Western University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Shivaji University, along with additional coursework in project management and system analysis.
