Christel Van Der Walt

Christel Van Der Walt has extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Christel started their career in 1991 at Absa Group as a Portfolio Manager, where they focused on building relationships with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and providing them with appropriate banking products. In 2003, they transitioned to the real estate industry and worked as a Real Estate Agent at Nationlink Plattekloof, specializing in property sales and addressing the needs of buyers.

In 2004, Christel joined Private Property, initially as a Manager of their own franchise, responsible for business growth, financial performance, marketing, and sales. Later on, they became an Operations Manager, working collaboratively with five franchisees to optimize their businesses in areas such as marketing, finance, training, and sales. Additionally, they served as a national trainer, developing training materials and conducting training sessions for staff across the country.

From 2008 to 2010, Christel worked as a Bond Consultant at Bond Choice, assisting clients in securing mortgage bonds. Christel then returned to Avon Justine in 2010 as an Area Manager, overseeing representatives and sales leaders to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve profit targets. Their role involved managing complaints, maintaining customer relationships, and driving sales performance.

In 2008, Christel became the Managing Director of Central Plaza Investment 150, a position they held until 2022. During their tenure, they assumed overall responsibility for the company's operations and successfully navigated its growth and performance.

Most recently, in 2022, Christel joined Fenix Family as a Sales and Marketing Specialist, utilizing their experience and expertise to drive sales and marketing initiatives for the company.

Christel Van Der Walt attended Diamantveld High School from 1984 to 1988. Christel obtained their Matric degree, focusing on High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates.
