Head Of Claims (buildings And Business Incidents) at Fennia

Mikko Koski has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Mikko is currently the Head of Claims (buildings and business incidents) at Fennia since September 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Claims Department at Suomen Vahinkovakuutus Oy (Finnish P&C Insurance Ltd) from May 2017 to September 2021.

Before entering the insurance sector, Mikko gained significant experience at If Insurance Company, where they held various Service Manager roles. Mikko was responsible for Company vehicle claims from June 2011 to April 2017, Statutory workers' compensations from November 2010 to May 2011, and Statutory workers' compensations/Major customers from June 2008 to October 2010.

Earlier in their career, Mikko worked at Etera Mutual Pension Insurance Company as a Rehabilitation Manager from October 2006 to May 2008 and as a Solution Manager from April 2002 to October 2006. Mikko also had roles at LEL Pension Insurance Company, including Team leader - Payment control unit from August 2001 to April 2002 and Customer secretary from May 2001 to August 2001.

Mikko's work experience dates back to their early years as a Salesperson at Kesko Citymarket Länsikeskus from March 1991 to March 2001.

Mikko Koski began their education in 1989 at Juhana Herttuan lukio, where they earned their high school degree in 1992. Mikko then attended Turku Vocational Institute for one year in 1996 to study Public Administration. From 1997 to 2003, Mikko pursued a Master of Social Sciences (MSSc) at the University of Turku, focusing on Sosial Policy, Adult Education, Communication, and Political History. In 2002, they enrolled at Helsinki Vocational College for two years to complete a Specialist Qualification in Management (JET, Johtamisen erikoisammattitutkinto).
