Antonino Caronia

Antonino Caronia is an experienced project manager and engineer specializing in nuclear construction and engineering. Currently serving as project manager for the Nuclear Island at Fennovoima since January 2022, Antonino oversees the review and approval of Basic Design development for nuclear classified systems and components. Previous roles include Technical Consultant at CASA CORONA S.R.L. and Project Delivery Manager at BOUYGUES UK, where responsibilities encompassed oversight of firefighting system installations and management of stainless steel embedded pipe installations, respectively. Antonino has also contributed to various nuclear projects, including managerial positions for firefighting systems at Slovenské elektrárne and engineering coordination at Barakah nuclear power plant. With a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from Università degli Studi di Palermo, Antonino possesses extensive expertise in nuclear safety analysis and design development.
