Karim Masri

Project Engineer at Fermi Solutions

Karim Masri, P.Eng, M.Eng, is an experienced Project Engineer currently with Fermi Solutions and Ontario Power Generation, focusing on the Pickering Refurb, Retube and Feeder Replacement project. Previous roles include Field Engineering Lead at Bruce Power for Major Component Replacement projects, where responsibilities included support for fuel channel removal and coordination between design and construction teams. Karim also served as Project Engineering Lead for the U1 Generator Rewind Project, overseeing execution, commissioning, and closeout. Prior to that, Karim worked as a Junior Mechanical Engineer at The Aquila Group, handling engineering calculations and project cost estimates, and as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Knoll. Karim holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on Sustainable Energy from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ryerson University.
