Brian Yoo has a wealth of experience in the field of science. Brian began their career in 2010 as a Process Modeling and Solutions Intern at LG Chem. In 2011, they held the role of Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of California, Berkeley. From 2012 to 2017, they worked as a Graduate Student and Graduate Student Instructor - Undergraduate Thermodynamics I at the University of Notre Dame. In 2015, they took on the role of Graduate Student Intern at ExxonMobil. From 2017 to 2021, they held the roles of Senior Scientist I - Materials Molecular Modeling and Scientist III - Quantum Chemistry and Molecular Simulations at BASF. Most recently, they have worked as an Applied Research Scientist at Fero Labs since 2021.
Brian Yoo has a diverse educational background. Brian obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley in 2012. Brian then went on to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 2017. Brian also obtained four certifications from Coursera in 2019, including Unordered Data Structures, Ordered Data Structures, Object-Oriented Data Structures in C++, and Machine Learning. Brian is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they are expected to complete in 2021.
