Bijay Shakya is currently a Graduate Research Assistant and Student Researcher at Dakota State University, focusing on wireless network security and machine learning for de-authentication attacks, as well as advancements in YOLO architecture for small object detection. As an Application Developer at Ferrandino & Son, Inc., Bijay has been involved in web application development using .NET 5, Blazor, and SQL. Previous experience includes a role as a .NET Software Engineer for the IMCS Group, contributing to the Footlocker Retail project, and earlier positions as a Software Engineer Intern and Research Assistant, where Bijay worked on various web applications and prototypes. With a solid academic background, Bijay is pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at Dakota State University, having previously earned a Master's degree in the same field and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Kathmandu University.
