Andreas Hugerth

Andreas Hugerth is a highly experienced Principal Scientist and lead of the Drug Delivery Technology Scouting Team at Ferring Pharmaceuticals since April 2016, specializing in the identification and evaluation of new external drug delivery technologies and fostering university collaborations in fundamental drug delivery research. Prior roles include Senior Scientific Manager and Team Manager at McNeil AB, where responsibilities encompassed formulation development and management of the formulation group, as well as earlier positions as a research associate and senior scientist in pharmaceutics and preformulation sciences. Andreas Hugerth holds a Ph.D. in Physical Pharmaceutical Chemistry and an M.Sc. in Pharmacy, both from Uppsala University.
