Carl Bilbo

Carl Bilbo has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Carl is currently Senior Vice President of the Microbiome Franchise at Ferring Pharmaceuticals. Prior to this, they served as Global Franchise Head of Microbiome at the same company. In 2021, they joined Supersapiens as a Board Member. From 2000 to 2021, they held various leadership positions at Novo Nordisk, including Corporate Vice President in Commercial Affairs and Strategy, International Operations. Carl was responsible for marketing, market access, pricing, and commercial excellence across multiple regions. Carl also had roles in corporate analytics, competitive intelligence, and business development. Before joining Novo Nordisk, they worked at LEO Pharma and Novo Nordisk A/S in marketing and biostatistics roles, respectively. In addition, they served as a Board Member at DenmarkBridge from 2016 to 2018.

Carl Bilbo obtained their MSc in Engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark in 1989. Carl further pursued their education at the same institution and completed their PhD in Biostatistics in 1992. Later, in 2003, they attended INSEAD for the Advanced Management Programme (AMP). In 2011, they enrolled in the London Business School where they completed the Senior Executive Programme in Business Administration and Management. Finally, in 2014, they attended Harvard Business School for the Novo Nordisk Strategy Execution Programme.
