Halala Hlongwa

Halala Hlongwa is a skilled laboratory analyst with extensive experience in chemical analysis within the mining and mineral sectors. Currently employed at Ferroglobe PLC since May 2023, Halala previously held positions as a laboratory technician at ALS from February 2022 to January 2023 and as a laboratory analyst at SGS from July 2020 to January 2022. Expertise includes performing wet chemistry analysis for chrome and iron content, carbon and sulfur content analysis using IR combustion, and conducting various tests such as turbidity and pH. Halala holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, earned between 2014 and 2017.
