Aaron Kato 💥

Aaron Kato has a diverse range of work experience in the field of product design. Their most recent position is as a Full-stack Product Designer at Fetch.ai, starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Sequence as a Senior Product Designer (Part-time) from January 2023 to March 2023, and as a Staff Product Designer from July 2022 to February 2023.

Before joining Sequence, Aaron was a Digital Product Designer at Toptal from July 2017 to March 2023. Aaron was responsible for passing Toptal's rigorous hiring process and being part of their top 3% design talent.

From June 2018 to May 2022, Aaron worked at BRYTER as a Lead/Senior Product Designer. During their time there, they played a key role in the company's growth, overseeing the design team's expansion and culture development. Aaron also led the design of BRYTER's brand and the development of their design system.

Prior to BRYTER, Aaron founded MSKTRS in September 2016, where they worked as a Managing Partner with a small team. Aaron also served as a Lead Product Designer at Kobalt Music from August 2015 to July 2016, where they helped build the company's in-house design team and created innovative digital products for the music industry.

Additionally, Aaron worked as a Contract Design Consultant at Barclays. Aaron led a team of designers in developing a new product for Barclays' business customers and also improved their online applications in terms of visual and interaction design.

Finally, Aaron's career started at Tesco, where they served as a Senior UI/UX Designer for their Groceries website in 2013. Aaron focused on enhancing the user experience and implementing a modern design approach.

Aaron Kato graduated from Grammar School Frigyes Koranyi in 2006 with a degree in English & Information Technology. From 2006 to 2009, they attended the University of Debrecen, where they obtained a BSc in Computer Science, Program Engineering and IT.
