Alexander Cook has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Alexander is currently working at Fetch as a Site Reliability Engineering Lead & Manager, where they are responsible for driving technical vision and project execution for the SRE team. Prior to this, they worked as a Site Reliability Engineer at Fetch.

Before joining Fetch, Alexander worked at Epic for several years. In their role as a Technical Solutions Engineer, Team Leader, they led a team of infrastructure experts and managed a cross-disciplinary team to run mission-critical public websites. Alexander also provided technical support for patient portal websites and mobile applications.

Alexander's earlier experiences include working as an Undergraduate Researcher at Penn State University in the Drew Laboratory and Abidian Laboratory. Alexander also served as a Summer Computational Researcher at The University of Texas at Austin and a Summer Clinical Researcher at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. Additionally, they worked as a Public Speaking Tutor at Penn State University.

Throughout their career, Alexander has developed a range of technical skills, including proficiency with Epic's software, networking concepts, infrastructure components and protocols, and programming languages impacting patient experience applications.

Alexander Cook completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biomedical Engineering and Physics from Penn State University, where they studied from 2012 to 2017. In addition to their degrees, they obtained various certifications, including Welcome certification from Epic in June 2020, Clarity Data Model - MyChart and EpicCare Link certification from Epic in April 2018, and Client Systems Administration - MyChart and EpicCare Link certification from Epic in November 2017. Alexander also obtained certifications in EpicCare Link, EpicCare Ambulatory, and MyChart in September and October 2017. Furthermore, they possess certifications in scuba diving from NAUI Worldwide, including Advanced Scuba Diver, Scuba Diver, and Underwater Ecologist: Coral Reefs, all obtained in May 2016. Most recently, they obtained the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2021.
