Taiki Ishii

Taiki Ishii has a diverse work experience in the field of product design. Taiki is currently working at Fetch as a Senior Product Designer, focusing on the "Prototype Pro" project. Prior to this, they held positions at Fetch as a Product Designer III, Product Designer II, and Product Designer.

Before joining Fetch, Taiki worked at Clutch.win as a Product Designer, where they were responsible for user experience and interface design for a video game clip editing and sharing platform. Taiki played a crucial role in generating user-centered design for iOS and web features.

Taiki also gained valuable experience at Thinkful, where they participated in a Data Visualization Accelerator program. During this program, they developed skills in data analysis and presenting findings in an easily understandable manner using Python.

Additionally, Taiki worked as a User Experience Design Intern at Golf Digest Online, Inc, where they focused on graphics, UX design, and user research for ad campaigns and web/mobile platforms. Taiki also served as a Digital Technology Intern for Campus Friendspotter Mobile App, where they conducted user research studies and improved the brand awareness and user experience within the app.

Earlier in their career, Taiki worked as a Food and Beverage Associate at VillaSport Athletic Club and Spa.

Taiki Ishii has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Product Design, which they obtained from the University of Oregon. Taiki studied at the university from 2015 to 2019. Additionally, they participated in the Semester At Sea program in 2017/2018, exploring various world cultures. Prior to their university education, Taiki attended the Portland Japanese School from 2003 to 2012, specializing in Japanese Studies. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a UX Foundations: Research certification from LinkedIn in January 2020.
