Gina Valdez

Gina Valdez's work experience is as follows:

- From January 2023 to present, they have been working as a Product Designer at Fetch.

- From November 2021 to January 2023, they worked as a Principal Designer at Flagrant, where they gained valuable experience in designing consumer products.

- From September 2020 to November 2021, they held the position of Senior UI/UX Designer at 8th Light. During this time, they led discovery workshops, conducted research, created UI design systems, and interviewed prospective design candidates.

- In 2018, they worked as a Visual Designer (UI, Graphic Design) at WeSolv from February to August.

- In 2017, they worked as an Independent Contractor - Graphic Designer at QuaraCORE from June to February, at Daniel Biss for Illinois from July to August, and at ART ON THE LOOSE, INC. Creative Therapist from May 2016 to June 2017.

- In 2017, they also worked as a Seasonal Design Associate at 270 Strategies from March to June and as a Graphic Design Intern at One Club Creative Bootcamp in March.

- In 2016, they worked as a Graphic Designer at an agency from September to December, where they collaborated with teams on various design projects for nonprofits.

Gina Valdez's education history began in 2007 when they attended Archbishop Williams High School and obtained their High School Diploma in 2011. Gina then pursued further studies at Loyola University Chicago from 2011 to 2013, where they focused on Visual Communications and Drawing & Painting. Following that, Gina attended Columbia College Chicago from 2013 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Graphic Design with a Creative Advertising minor.

In addition to their formal education, Gina Valdez has also obtained certifications to enhance their skills. In June 2018, they completed the User Experience Design Circuit certification program at General Assembly. Later, in July 2022, they participated in 1 Mentorship Sessions offered by adplist.org.
