Hilary Palotay

Hilary Palotay has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Hilary currently works as the Director of Corporate Responsibility at Fetch Pet Insurance since 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of 211 National Initiatives at United Way from 2019 to 2022, where they provided leadership and support to non-profit organizations. Hilary also worked at the American Red Cross, starting as a Major Gifts Associate in 2011, then progressing to roles such as Manager of Youth Preparedness and Program Coordinator of Preparedness Education. Before that, they gained experience as a Communications Specialist at the American Red Cross of Greater Los Angeles and as a teaching assistant and program assistant at the Monterey Institute of International Studies. Hilary also worked as a development intern at Sustainable Bolivia and The Jaffa Institute. Prior to their professional career, they served as a department associate at Stanford University's Political Science Department. Hilary Palotay completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Journalism with an option in Public Relations from California State University, Chico in the years 2001 to 2005. Hilary then obtained a certificate in German Language from Fachhochschule Heidelberg, studying from 2005 to 2006. Later, they pursued a Masters degree in International Policy Studies with a focus on Humanitarian Assistance from Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, from 2007 to 2009.
