Chief People Officer at FHI 360

Useetha Rhodes leads and manages human resource partners who are responsible for supporting more than 4,000 FHI 360 employees globally, including expatriates and host-country national staff. She works collaboratively with leaders across the organization to develop, implement and monitor processes and systems for ensuring compliance with state, federal and international labor law. In addition, she works closely with legal counsel and the Chief Human Resources Officer to resolve complex global employee relations issues, and she develops and interprets global human resources policies to field staff and senior management.

Prior to this position, Rhodes held several other positions with the organization, including Associate Director of Human Resources, Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Generalist. She has country experience from around the world, including Bangladesh, Egypt, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Mozambique, Myanmar (Burma), Sierra Leone, South Africa, Thailand, Vietnam and Zambia.

Rhodes is a Senior Certified Professional in Human Resources and holds a bachelors degree in political science and a Master of Public Administration, both from North Carolina Central University.
