Takaji Messer

Takaji Messer has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Takaji is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Fi since 2022. Before that, they worked at AppOnboard, Inc. as a Senior Software Developer from 2018 to 2022, where they ported and publicly released iOS utility apps to Android, collaborated with a large team to add new features to the mobile game creation tool, Buildbox, and implemented ad networks for monetization. Prior to that, Takaji worked at Traffic Technology Services Inc. as a Software Developer from 2016 to 2018, where they maintained a public REST API, collaborated with others to develop software for predicting traffic signal states, and developed an Android app. Takaji also worked as a User Interface Development Intern at Tektronix in 2015, where they created and maintained UI components and developed a web application. Before that, they were a Software Development Intern at ON Semiconductor in 2014, where they supported the logistics team by adding functionality to a web application and wrote SQL queries for reporting. Takaji's work experience also includes a role as an English Tutor at Portland Community College from 2012 to 2013.

Takaji Messer began their education at Portland Community College from 2011 to 2013, where they completed an Associate of Science (A.S.) and an Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer (AAOT). Following this, they attended Oregon State University from 2013 to 2015 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
