Povilas Baranauskas

Povilas Baranauskas has diverse work experience primarily in the field of social media and event coverage. Povilas started their career as a Business Development Intern at Dalinuosi.lt in 2015 and later worked as a Marketing Assistant at SAVY.lt. In 2015, they also served as a Bartender at Alaus Namai, UAB Vidginta. Povilas then worked as a Business Development Assistant at Pressera in 2015 and as a Banquets Bartender at Sun Valley Company in 2016 and 2017. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Website Editor and Social Media Coordinator for the Baltic Basketball League and also as a Banquets Bartender at Sun Valley Company in the summer of 2016. Povilas joined BC Zalgiris Kaunas in 2018 as a Social Media Consultant and was responsible for managing the English side of the club's digital channels. Finally, in 2019, they joined FIBA as a Social Media Contributor and later became a Social Media Specialist. In this role, they worked on various FIBA events such as the FIBA World Cup 2019, EuroBasket 2022, and FIBA Youth Championships. Povilas is currently preparing for Women's EuroBasket 2023 and FIBA World Cup 2023.

Povilas Baranauskas obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Vilnius University between 2014 and 2018. Prior to that, they attended Vilnius Mykolas Birziska Gymnasium from 2010 to 2014, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.
