Sébastien Clivaz

Sébastien Clivaz has a diverse work experience in the fields of sales, sports management, and insurance. Sébastien is currently working as a Senior Sales Manager and member of the management team at Maklerzentrum Schweiz AG, a prominent insurance company specializing in health insurance, retirement planning, and mortgages, where they oversee partnerships with more than 600 independent brokerage structures.

In addition to their sales role, Sébastien has a background in sports. Sébastien worked as a referee for Euroleague Basketball and FIBA, where they also served as a referee instructor. Sébastien founded Never Stop Learning in Sport, a project focused on continuous education in sports. Sébastien also holds memberships with Swiss Sport Managers and Swiss Basketball, where they served as a Referee Manager and later took on the role of Head of 3x3 basketball.

Prior to their current positions, Sébastien worked as the Executive Director at Playmaker Sport&Event Management and as a team leader at Maklerzentrum Schweiz AG.

Sébastien Clivaz began their education history in 2010 when they attended VBV/AFA and pursued a degree in Intermédiaire d'Assurance AFA, specializing in the field of Assurances. Sébastien completed this program in 2011.

In 2016, Sébastien attended FIBA and participated in the FRIP-1 (FIBA Referee Instructor Program) where they focused on the study of Basket. Sébastien completed this program in 2017.

Moving forward to 2020, Sébastien enrolled in IDHEAP | Institut de hautes études en administration publique and pursued a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Sport Management and Policy, with a concentration in Administration/gestion du sport et conditionnement physique. Sébastien successfully completed this program in 2021.

Finally, in the same year, Sébastien Clivaz attended the University of Lausanne - UNIL for a CAS - Certified of Advanced Studies in Leadership et Pilotage du Sport, with a specialization in Administration / gestion du sport et conditionnement physique. This program lasted for a year and was completed in 2021.
