Sergio Deustua Jochamowitz has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Sergio started their career in 2012 as a Video Editor at Mediaset España, where they worked on packages for prime time TV shows. In 2014, they served as a Web Manager at Lee Films. Sergio then joined BBC News in 2016 as a Freelance Camera Operator, covering the Indian International Film Academy Awards in Madrid. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Video Engineer at Turner, supporting and maintaining audiovisual editing and post-production units. In 2018, Sergio started working at López-li Films as a DOP, Film Editor, and Digital Visual Designer, working on various feature documentaries. Sergio also worked at CNN from 2011 to 2020 as a Digital Video Producer and Broadcaster, covering breaking news and delivering video packages. In 2020, Sergio worked as a Senior Video Editor for OBS - Olympic Broadcasting Services during the Laussane 2020 Youth Olympic Winter Games. Sergio then moved on to Real Maestranza de Caballería de Ronda in 2021 as a Senior Visual Designer. Currently, Sergio holds the position of Senior Video Editor at FIBA, starting in 2022. Throughout their career, they have gained experience using various editing software and equipment, including Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Avid Media Composer, Canon C300, Sony FS7, and Panasonic Varicam.

Sergio Deustua Jochamowitz completed their Licentiate degree in Audiovisual Communications Technologies/Technicians from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid between 2001 to 2005.
