Jasper Verduyckt

Jasper Verduyckt is an experienced project manager and process engineer at Fibrant since October 2018, previously serving as a PhD researcher at Research Foundation Flanders from October 2014 to September 2018. During the PhD, Jasper developed sustainable chemical routes for converting renewable substrates into compounds for pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and biodegradable plastics, focusing on synthesizing heterogeneous metal catalysts and analyzing reaction mixtures with various analytical techniques. Jasper's early career includes student positions at Coca-Cola Services and Beneo, where roles included validating analytical processes and assisting in market intelligence. Educational qualifications include a PhD in bioscience engineering from KU Leuven, complemented by a master's and bachelor's degree in catalytic technology from the same institution.
