Cristina Pérez Benito

Cristina Pérez Benito is an experienced professional in the field of advanced vision systems and artificial intelligence, currently serving as the R&D Tech Lead at FICOSA since June 2021, where leadership of the technical team for major research projects in autonomous driving is a key focus. Previously, as a Vision Systems Engineer at IDNEO, expertise in developing computer vision algorithms for Automotive Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) was demonstrated. Prior roles include IT Consultant at Banc Sabadell, researcher in morphometry and computer vision at the Instituto de Biomecánica, and a senior research technician at Universitat Politècnica de València, where contributions were made towards medical imaging solutions. Cristina holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics, a Master's degree in Mathematical Research, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from esteemed universities.
