Rafal Koziarz

Rafal Koziarz has extensive work experience in the field of technology and engineering. Rafal started their career as an IT Consultant at FDM Group in 2011, where they worked on a multi-year change program for Fidelity International. During this time, they customized a Research Management System, developed database unit testing frameworks, and enhanced core vendor products.

In 2012, Rafal joined Fidelity International as an IT Consultant before quickly progressing to the role of Senior Developer Technical Lead in 2013. Rafal then became a Solution Architect in 2016, where they oversaw the global Research platform supporting various businesses. Rafal's responsibilities in this role included designing a replacement research consumption platform, creating a bespoke in-memory database, and delivering a PM toolkit with equity stock screening capabilities.

Rafal later served as a Senior Solutions Lead from 2019 to 2021 and an Associate Director, Technical Architect from 2021 to 2023 at Fidelity International. Currently, Rafal holds the position of Technical Director - Engineering (Investments & Solution Services) at Fidelity International, starting in 2023.

Rafal Koziarz obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Management from the University of York in the years 2007 to 2010. In addition, they have obtained certifications such as SnowPro Core from Snowflake in 2023, Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2021, TOGAF 9.1 Foundation and Certified from The Open Group in 2017, and Investment Foundations from CFA Institute in 2015.
