Martin Zimmerman

Martin Zimmerman has over three decades of work experience in the software and technology industry. Martin started their career at Datalog Technology in 1990 as a Software Developer and System Architect, where they remained until 1996. Martin then joined Nortel Networks as an Engineering Systems Specialist, serving from 1996 to 2002. Following this, they worked at Demand Data Services as a Senior Embedded Systems Developer and System Administrator from 2002 to 2004. In 2005, Zimmerman joined Spira Data Corp as a Senior Software Developer, holding the position until 2008. From 2008 to 2013, they worked at BlackBerry, assuming various roles including Embedded Systems Software Developer, Manager, OS Core Platform, and Software Architect. In 2013, they were hired as an Embedded Software Technical Lead at Fidus Systems. Throughout their career, Zimmerman has showcased expertise and leadership in software development and system architecture.

Martin Zimmerman attended the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) from 1988 to 1989, studying Computer Technology. Prior to that, they attended the University of Calgary from 1986 to 1987, specializing in Computer Science.
