Josh Spisak is an experienced robotics engineer and team lead with a strong background in autonomous systems. Since founding the MIT-PITT-RW team in January 2020, Josh has served as Chief Engineer and has led the development of critical systems such as the vehicle controller and localization executive. Prior roles include Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, where contributions were made to the DARPA Subterranean challenge, and Principal Robotics Engineer at Mach9 Robotics. Josh's education includes a Master's degree in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh, complemented by an Associate's degree in Software Development from the Community College of Allegheny County.
