Mike Petraglia

Mike Petraglia is an experienced sports journalist and columnist with a career spanning several decades in the New England sports landscape. Currently, Mike serves as a Sports Columnist and TV talent at CLNS Media and a Sports Writer for Field Level Media. As the Founder and Sports Columnist at SportSound since 1993, Mike has covered a wide range of New England sports for various outlets. Previous roles include working as a Public Relations and Sports Marketing Specialist at Elevate Communications and a General Assignment Reporter for the WEEI Sports Radio Network, where Mike reported on major teams such as the Red Sox, Patriots, and Bruins. Mike's significant contributions to sports journalism also include tenures with Entercom, The Associated Press, the Boston Bruins, Comcast, and ESPN. Educationally, Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Communications, along with an Associate's degree in Communication and Media Studies, both obtained from Villanova University.
