Abbas Maazallahi

Abbas Maazallahi has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and analytics. Abbas is currently working as a Senior Data Scientist at Fieldstream Media Inc., where they are responsible for implementing advanced AI models to analyze Marketing Mix Models. Prior to this, Abbas was the Head of SEERIO Data Science Group at SEERIO from 2016 to 2022. Abbas also worked as an Analytics Consultant at Magnet Digital Agency from 2016 to 2017.

Abbas has a background in research as well, having served as a Research Assistant at Royan Institute in 2016. In this role, they worked on Genome embedding for extracting a rich feature vector of DNA for various purposes. The outcome of this research was a published paper in the Nature Journal.

Before venturing into data science, Abbas gained technical experience as a Technical Team Member at Agira-ArmanGitiRay from 2015 to 2016 and at Sadr pioneers of progress and development from 2013 to 2015. Abbas also worked as a Data Warehouse Architect at Tehran Municipality from 2012 to 2013.

Abbas Maazallahi obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Sharif University of Technology between 2005 and 2009. Abbas then pursued a Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence from the same university from 2009 to 2012. Later, Abbas completed their education by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Tehran between 2012 and 2017. Additionally, they acquired several certifications from LinkedIn in early 2023, including "Apache Spark Essential Training," "The Non-Technical Skills of Effective Data Scientists," "GitHub for Data Scientists," "Level Up: Advanced Python," and "Transformers: Text Classification for NLP Using BERT."
