Francisco Arias

Francisco Arias has extensive work experience in the entertainment industry, specifically in the areas of business and legal affairs. Francisco currently holds the position of EVP, General Counsel, and Head of Business & Legal Affairs at Fifth Season, a global leader in film and television production and distribution. Prior to this role, they served as EVP, Deputy General Counsel, and Head of Business & Legal Affairs at Fifth Season. From 2018 to 2021, they were the SVP, Associate General Counsel, and Head of Scripted TV Business & Legal Affairs at Fifth Season.

Before joining Fifth Season, Francisco Arias worked at CBS Television Studios as a Senior Vice President of Business Affairs from 2005 to 2018. Francisco also gained experience at The Walt Disney Company, where they served as the Director of Business Affairs for Touchstone & ABC Television Studios from 2000 to 2005. Additionally, they worked at Holland & Knight LLP as an Associate specializing in Federal Indian Law & Gaming Law from 1999 to 2000. Francisco started their career at Telemundo as Counsel in 1999.

In 2009, they also received a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt certification from Street Sports Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
