Neelam Kumar has extensive experience in journalism and editing, beginning with a role at Fiji Broadcasting Corporation as Head of Hindi News and Current Affairs from March 1990 to January 1996, where responsibilities included news presentation, editing, and producing current affairs. Following this, Neelam Kumar worked at Fiji Times Limited from June 1996 to 2012, engaging in various tasks such as news reporting, translation, editing, and layout design for Shanti Dut. Since April 1985, Neelam Kumar has served as the Editor of Fiji Times Ltd, overseeing the only Hindi newspaper in Fiji, with prior foundational work at Shanti Dut. Neelam Kumar's education includes studies at the University of the South Pacific from 1999 to 2000.
