María Eugenia Gatica has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. María Eugenia began their career in 1991 as a Finance Accountant at FASTA International Educational Services, where they worked until 2000. Following that, they served as an Executive Management Assistant at Fasta International Educational Services from 2000 to 2001. María Eugenia then worked as an Accountant at Col·legi FASTA La Mercè from 2002 to 2003, handling invoicing and accounts receivable reconciliations.

From 2003 to 2004, María worked as an Import/Export Accountant at Grupo Videla, a company focused on processing and distributing fish and shellfish. María Eugenia then moved on to TECIL in 2004, where they served as an Accounting Manager for a year.

In 2005, María joined Sedatex as a Senior Accountant, a global textile company specializing in fabric production and offering a comprehensive product service to clients. After a year, they transitioned to JF Hillebrand Global Beverage Logistics in 2007, initially working as a Business Accountant and later as a Finance Manager. During their tenure, María built a new Accounting/Finance team, reduced bad debt by 30%, and implemented a new customer credit policy.

In 2020, María joined Laboratoires SVR as the CFO for the Spain branch, overseeing the finances of the French dermocosmetic brand. María Eugenia also took on the role of CFO at Laboratoires Fillmed Spain, another dermocosmetic company, where they managed financial operations.

Throughout their career, María has gained experience in financial management, accounting, team building, and risk management. María Eugenia'sexpertise spans various industries, including education, textiles, logistics, and dermocosmetics.

María Eugenia Gatica has a diverse educational background. María Eugenia obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Accounting & Controlling, from the University of Buenos Aires between 1994 and 2000. In 2006-2007, they pursued a Master's degree in Finance & Administration at the Universitat de Barcelona.

In terms of professional development, María Eugenia Gatica completed the PMD Barcelona program at IESE Business School from 2019 to 2020. This program, offered by one of the leading business schools in the world, focuses on management and leadership skills.

In 2022, they pursued a postgraduate degree in Project Management and Digital Transformation at the EADA Business School. Additionally, they are set to continue their education at the same institution in 2022-2023, further specializing in their field of study.
