Karen Yip

Karen Yip, MBA, CPA, CMA has a strong background in finance and analysis. Karen has held various roles throughout their career, starting as a Business Analyst (Co-op) at TD in 2004 and 2005. From 2006 to 2010, they worked at Just Energy as a Financial Analyst and then as a Business Analyst/Product Owner where they played a key role in improving operational efficiency through the implementation of a .NET Customer Information System.

In 2012, Karen joined Brookfield Global Relocation Services as a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis. Here, they managed a team of financial analysts and was responsible for consolidated management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Karen worked closely with senior management to support company objectives.

Most recently, Karen has been working at Financeit since 2015. Karen started as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, and is currently in the role of VP Finance since 2018. Unfortunately, the specific end dates for this role and for their previous roles are not provided.

Karen Yip has an Honours Bachelor of Arts and Business degree in Economics and Human Resources Management from the University of Waterloo. Karen also holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Accounting from Wilfrid Laurier University.
