T. Raja Kumar

President at Financial Action Task Force (FATF)

T Raja Kumar has a diverse and extensive work experience in various government agencies and organizations. T Raja currently serves as the President of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) since 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Advisor (International) at the Ministry of Home Affairs Singapore, where they also served as the Head of the Singapore Delegation to FATF. T Raja also served as the Deputy Secretary (International) at the Ministry, overseeing international partnerships and engagements, and co-leading the Singapore team for FATF.

Before their time at the Ministry of Home Affairs, T Raja Kumar was the Chief Executive of the Home Team Academy from 2014 to 2018. T Raja also held significant positions in the Singapore Police Force as the Deputy Commissioner of Police from 2011 to 2014 and as the CEO of the Casino Regulatory Authority from 2008 to 2011.

T Raja Kumar's education history begins in 1968 when they attended Anglo Chinese School for an unknown duration. T Raja then went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Law at the National University of Singapore, completing their studies from 1981 to 1985. In 1996, they attended the University of Cambridge, where they obtained an M. Phil. in Criminology and Law, completing their studies in 1997. Finally, in 2006, T Raja Kumar attended Harvard University's Advanced Management Program (AMP) for a short period of time.
