Zaan Pirani

Zaan Pirani has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries and roles. They have worked as a Program Manager for Financial Health Network since 2022, focusing on financial innovation. Zaan also serves as a Member of the Advisory Board for The Digital Dollar Project starting in 2023. Prior to these positions, they served as a Strategy, Growth, & Expansion professional for Flourish FI from 2021 to 2022, with a specific focus on Latin America.

In the fintech and emerging tech sectors, Zaan has held several positions at Commonwealth. They served as an Innovation (UX) Manager from 2021 to 2022, a Senior Innovation Strategist from 2020 to 2020, and an Innovation Strategist from 2019 to 2019. Additionally, Zaan worked as an Ambassador for Sofar Sounds in 2019.

Zaan's earlier experience includes serving as a Knowledge Exchange Mentor at the University of Central Asia in 2018, a Senior Analyst in Strategic Finance at Enova International from 2017 to 2018, and various roles within AbbVie from 2014 to 2017, including Global Financial Systems Analyst and participation in the Finance Development Program. They also worked as a Wealth Management & Advisory Intern at Merrill Lynch in 2012.

Zaan Pirani holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In 2021, Zaan earned a certificate in Human-Computer Interaction for User Experience Design from MIT xPRO. Additionally, Zaan had a semester abroad at The University of Manchester, where the focus of study was Finance, Operations, and Sports Management. Zaan has also obtained certifications in various fields, including "Harnessing Design Thinking, Ethics, and the Power of AI for Social Innovation" from Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI), "Unlocking Creativity" from IDEO, and "Design Kit: Prototyping" also from IDEO.
