Kathy Ciccolini

Kathy Ciccolini has over 25 years of work experience in the field of human resources. Kathy'smost recent position was as the Vice President of Human Resources at Financial Horizons, where they have been since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Human Resources at the same company from May 2020 to November 2022.

Before joining Financial Horizons, Kathy held leadership positions at various organizations. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at JungoHR as a Leader, overseeing a team of HR professionals and collaborating with sales, marketing, and HR professionals to enhance the client experience. Kathy also contributed to brand development activities and participated in business development efforts.

Kathy has also worked at the Ontario Ministry of Government and Consumer Services as the Manager of Strategic Human Resources in 2016. In this role, they provided strategic HR advice and support to senior executives and played a key role in talent management, workforce planning, and change management initiatives.

From 2009 to 2013, Kathy served as the Chairperson of the Board of Referees at the Government of Canada. In this quasi-judicial role, they presided over hearings and made decisions on appeals related to Employment Insurance.

Earlier in their career, Kathy held positions at INTRIA and CIBC, where they gained experience in HR program and policy development, employee relations, and workplace conflict resolution.

Kathy Ciccolini holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University, where they studied Organizational Behavior Studies. Kathy also has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the University of Toronto. In terms of additional certifications, Kathy obtained their Certified Human Resources Leader designation from the HRPA (Human Resources Professionals Association) in October 2023. Kathy also holds a Certified Human Resources Professional certification from the HRPA, obtained in 2019. Furthermore, Kathy completed the Advanced Human Resources Law for Senior HR Executives course at Osgoode Professional Development in 2017. Kathy has also pursued training in alternative dispute resolution, obtaining an Advanced Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution and a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the Stitt Feld Handy Group.
