Jonathan Ward

Jonathan Ward is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in financial regulation and policy development. Currently serving as a Member of the Secretariat at the Financial Stability Board since May 2019, Jonathan previously held the position of Technical Head of Department at the Prudential Regulation Authority from September 2013 to May 2019. Jonathan's background includes significant roles at the Bank of England, including as Senior Adviser in Prudential Policy, where responsibilities encompassed leading the Financial Stability Directorate on CRD4 and assessing policy options for risk-weighted assets. Additional experience includes leadership positions at the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency and the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, alongside roles at Barclays Capital, Cambridge Judge Business School, the Financial Services Authority, and the Bank of England.
