Lucy Warwick-Ching

Lucy Warwick-Ching is a seasoned journalist currently serving as the Community Editor at the Financial Times since September 2020, where responsibilities include reviewing and developing the FT's comment strategy and engaging readers through a weekly column titled "Your Questions." Prior to this role, Lucy held several positions at the Financial Times from 2000 to 2020, including Digital and Communities Editor for FT Money and Online Money Editor, where storytelling focused on personal finance. Lucy also served as Deputy House and Home Editor, earning the Lifestyle and Interiors Property Writer of the Year award in 2012. Earlier experience includes covering UK companies and various financial topics in the UK Companies section. Lucy holds a postgraduate diploma in Newspaper Journalism from City St George’s, University of London, and a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Leeds.
