Nick Fallon

Chief Strategy and Development Officer at Financial Times

Nick Fallon was appointed Chief Strategy and Development Officer in 2025. He leads the FT’s group-wide strategy and development agenda, with a focus on long-term growth, innovation and strategic alignment across the organisation.

He previously served as Managing Director of FT Professional, the FT’s global B2B subscription business, where he led strong revenue and profit growth, launched data-driven products such as Monetary Policy Radar, and oversaw the FT’s first commercial generative AI product, Ask FT. He also negotiated key licensing partnerships central to the FT’s growth strategy.

Before joining the FT, Fallon held senior roles at The Economist Group, Informa and Oxford University Press, spanning strategy, commercial, consulting, editorial and product functions.
