Sylvia Pfeifer

Sylvia Pfeifer is an experienced journalist currently serving as an Industry Correspondent at the Financial Times since January 2018, where additional roles have included Leader Writer, Acting Industry Editor, and Acting Energy Correspondent. Prior to this, Sylvia held positions at the Financial Times from January 2008 to February 2014, acting as Special Correspondent, Energy Editor, and Defence Industries Correspondent. Sylvia's career in journalism began at The Sunday Telegraph from 2003 to 2008 as Deputy Business Editor and Senior City Correspondent. Academically, Sylvia holds a Master of Arts from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oxford, supplemented by attendance at Westminster School in London.
