Arnold S. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in design, user experience, and product strategy. Arnold is currently serving as the Head of Product Design & Research at Finantier (YC W21), where they lead interdisciplinary teams and guides them towards achieving their full potential. Prior to this, Arnold was a Design Leadership Forum Member at InVision, where they contributed to advancing the practice of design leadership by fostering a community of industry veterans and rising stars.

Arnold also worked as a UX & Product Strategy Council Member at GLG, providing advisory services on UX, product strategy, and market trends to clients across various industries. As a Senior Manager UX at GOJEK, they focused on integrating the Gojek experience across services and provided mentorship on project management, UX design, research, and design leadership.

Before that, Arnold held the position of Head of UX at Gramedia Digital Nusantara, leading a team of designers and researchers and pioneering design processes and data-driven design in the company. Arnold was also selected by Google as a Google Trusted Tester for the Next billion user project, where they provided UX design feedback and bug reporting for various Google products.

Arnold has also worked as a Senior Lead UX Architect at Ogilvy & Mather, crafting world-class UX for clients such as Unilever, Maybank, IBM, Nestle, and more. At PT Kudo Teknologi Indonesia (KUDO), they served as the Head of UX and later as the Lead UX Designer, contributing to the development of cutting-edge solutions in the e-commerce and payment market in Indonesia.

Additionally, Arnold co-founded Virtuosity Indonesia, where they served as the Chief Creative Officer and led the team in creating products with great user experience and a clear vision. Arnold also generated new ideas, designed company profiles and products, and developed business plans. Prior to that, they worked at Segitiga.Net as a Radio VJ and Contributing Writer, producing and hosting indie video game talk shows and generating content on ICT, startups, multimedia design, and game and application reviews.

Arnold S. obtained their Bachelor's degree in Design and Visual Communications, General from Institut Teknologi Bandung from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications throughout the years, including "Designing your career" from Stanford University School of Engineering in December 2021, "Qualitative Research Methods: Conversational Interviewing" from MIT Professional Education in October 2020, "Enterprise Design Thinking - Team Essentials for AI" and "Enterprise Design Thinking Co-Creator" from IBM in September 2020, and various digital skills certifications from Accenture, including "Accenture Digital Skill: Mobile", "Accenture Digital Skills: Retail", and "Accenture Digital skills lesson: User Experience (UX)" in June 2019. Arnold also has certifications from Google, such as the "Product design course" that covers product validation, UI/UX practices, Google's Design Sprint, and the process for setting and tracking actionable metrics obtained in May 2019. Additionally, they have completed several courses related to design thinking, user experience, and web design through platforms like Lynda.com in 2017.
