Wissam Khoury

Wissam Khoury is responsible for Finastra’s global Treasury and Capital Markets (TCM) organization.

He has over 25 years of experience working with financial institutions, leading them through digital transformation and industry change. He is particularly passionate about growing the TCM partner ecosystem at Finastra, as well as diversity and inclusion. He is an advocate and executive sponsor of the Women@Finastra group, which empowers women to achieve their professional and personal aspirations.

Wissam has a very successful track record in managing high performing teams, having previously spent more than two years leading Finastra’s Middle East and Africa operations as Managing Director, where he was instrumental in contributing to the growth of the region’s fintech industry. For the past two years, he drove the company’s growth strategy across EMEA and APAC, strengthening local footprints, accelerating sales and deepening customer partnerships.

Before Finastra, Wissam was Managing Director for the Middle East and Africa at FIS, a global financial software provider, where he grew the business and established offices in the UAE, KSA, Turkey, South Africa, Kenya and Pakistan. He also spent eight years as a solution practice manager at Reuters Limited, as well as establishing the Misys Middle East local Treasury and Capital Markets business as a Regional Manager.

Wissam has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from New York University – Leonard N. Stern School of Business, London School of Economics and Political Science, and HEC Paris. He holds a BBA in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut and is a certified Financial Risk Manager with the Global Association of Risk Professionals.
