Erka Koivunen

Erka Koivunen currently serves as Chief Information Security Officer at Finavia since January 2023. Previously, Erka held the same title at WithSecure from March 2022 to December 2022, overseeing internal cybersecurity initiatives. With extensive experience in the cybersecurity field, Erka worked at F-Secure Corporation as Chief Information Security Officer from August 2015 to July 2022 and as Cyber Security Advisor at the Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority from November 2005 to July 2015, where responsibilities included leading the National Cyber Security Centre Finland and managing incident response. Earlier positions included Information Security Manager roles at Elisa Oyj and Radiolinja, along with a technical role as System Administrator at Helsinki University of Technology. Erka holds a Master of Science degree in Technical from Aalto University.
