Teemu Laakso

Teemu Laakso has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Teemu has recently worked as the Head of Data at Finavia since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at CGI as the Director Consulting, Data Management from February 2019 to October 2021. In 2017, Teemu served as a Board Member and vice chairman at Keski-Uudenmaan koulutuskuntayhtymä Keuda, a publicly funded educational institute. Teemu also held various roles at Nordea Bank from 2017 to 2019, including being the Head of Data Traceability and Head of Data Quality. Teemu has also held positions at KONE Corporation, KONE Hissit Oy, and KONE Elevators Ltd. in different capacities, primarily in data management and business development.

Teemu Laakso obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, specializing in Machine Automation, from Helsinki Polytechnic Stadia from 1999 to 2003. Teemu then pursued a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Industrial Management at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences from 2006 to 2009. Prior to their higher education, they attended Mäntsälän Lukio from 1994 to 1998.

In addition to their formal education, Teemu Laakso has acquired certifications in the IT and project management fields. Teemu obtained the Certified IT Management Professional (CIMP) certification from Sofigate in September 2015.
