This role supports our data virtualisation product and covers building, maintaining and scaling the
product as an independent product and also as part of Finbourne's industry-leading LUSID product.
Luminesce is a data virtualisation service that simplifies the connection to any source or shape of
data in your organisation and lets you join it together in a single virtual view in real time. The system
enables you to instantly respond to cross-business challenges as they appear without requiring an IT
solution.

We're looking to hire a developer with experience building scalable and performant software and
who is excited by the idea of writing, supporting and maintaining globally distributed systems for
the financial services industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-growing business and
contributing to the scaling of a system from thousands of users to millions!

Key responsibilities include:

• Optimising our current technology stack to improve performance and stability
• Develop internal systems and integrate with external systems to expand product capabilities
• Develop our performance monitoring and testing suites to help us detect and mitigate
  performance issues
• Help design, inform and implement our product roadmap which includes improving user
  experience, adding more enhanced functionality, adding more connection and DS/ML.
• Provide technical expertise to our growing client base

What skills, experience and qualifications we require:

• We're looking for C# (or any strongly-type language) developer with ideally some SQL skills
  and experience writing, supporting, and maintaining globally distributed systems.
• Our key technologies are C# (.NET Core) applications hosted using Kubernetes on AWS.
• We also use a number of other key technologies including Python, RabbitMQ, Kafka,
  Elasticsearch and Concourse for CI/CD.
• As we work in an informal, agile environment we are also looking for candidates who are
  genuinely excited about what we do
