Galina Grineva

Galina Grineva has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Galina started their career as a Programmer-Mathematician at Instrument-making plants in Novosibirsk, Russia in 1982. After two years, they became the Chief Financial Officer at a Sewing Factory in Kyrgyzstan, where they worked for over a decade until 1995. Following this, they joined the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) as a Small and Middle Enterprises Credit line Consultant in Kyrgyzstan for a year. In 1996, they joined FINCA International and held multiple roles, including Office Manager and Finance Manager/Chief Accountant at FINCA Kyrgyzstan, and Financial Manager/Analyst and Planning Specialist at FINCA Moscow. In 2002, they became the Regional Audit Director for Eurasia & MESA at FINCA International, a position they held until at least 2017. In the same year, they also took on the role of Regional Audit Director for Eurasia & MESA at FINCA Impact Finance.

Galina Grineva attended the ABA Stonier National School of Banking from 2008 to 2010, where they studied banking. Prior to that, from 1977 to 1982, they attended Novosibirsk State University (NSU) and obtained a degree in Specialist of Economist-Mathematician. Furthermore, between 1974 and 1977, Galina Grineva attended the Specialized Physical-Mathematical School in Novosibirsk, although the details of their degree and field of study are not specified.
