Gary Yamamoto

Gary Yamamoto has held a variety of positions in the professional world, beginning in 1988 with a role as a Field Engineer for Schlumberger. Gary then progressed through Operation Management, Business Development and Investor Relations (based in NYC Corporate HQ), eventually becoming Vice President of Business Development in Schlumberger Russia in 2003. During their time there, they designed and implemented the company's 5-year growth strategy, resulting in a 5x growth from 2003-2008. In 2008, they became the Senior Management Advisor and then CEO of Borets International, and also founded Yamamoto Consulting, a business that provides Executive Business consulting to IT, global energy and resource companies and financial institutions. In 2010, they became an Independent Non-Executive Board Member of HMS Group Plc. In 2014, they were an Executive Consultant for Seadrill, and in 2016 they became the CEO and Co-Founder of Finch Technologies Ltd., an engineering company focused on interactive solutions for AR/VR environments. In 2022, they became the CEO and Co-Founder of FinchXR Ltd.

Gary Yamamoto obtained a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley between 1983 and 1988.
