Jean-Pierre Dumont

Jean-Pierre Dumont has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Jean-Pierre currently serves as the Head of Engineering at FinChoice since January 2020. Prior to that, they held various roles at Capfin from 2013 to 2020, including Head of Architecture, Enterprise Architect, and Systems Architect. Jean-Pierre also worked as a CTO at WebNow from 2006 to 2013, where they were responsible for technology vision, product development, and customer delivery. Jean-Pierre began their career as a Solution Architect at Dimension Data from 2001 to 2006. Before that, they served as a Lead Software Developer at Merrill Lynch from 1997 to 2000. Jean-Pierre's career began at JP Morgan in 1994, where they worked as a Software Developer within a specialized team. Prior to that, they worked as a Business Banker at Nedbank from 1992 to 1994.

Jean-Pierre Dumont holds a BCOM degree in Economics and Information Systems from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. In addition, they have obtained a certification in Inclusive Leadership from LinkedIn, which was earned in 2023.
