Mark Tovey

Mark Tovey has a diverse work experience in various roles. Mark worked as a Freelance Writer for Finder, where they contributed copy and data to investing guides and reviews. At The Guardian and The Motley Fool, they worked as a Journalist and Writer respectively. Mark also worked as a Data Journalist for Data News Ltd, researching FoI-based stories for national newspapers. Mark Tovey was a Presenter and interviewer for Resource Talks, conducting interviews with finance and mining experts for a YouTube channel. Mark worked as a Medical English Second Language Tutor for Preply, helping healthcare workers pass the Occupational English Test. Mark Tovey served as a Reporter for MailOnline and as a Medical Recruiter for Verumed Consultancy Services, assisting healthcare workers in passing the OET and organizing webinars on working in the NHS. Mark worked as a Research Fellow at the Institute of Economic Affairs, focusing on health economics research. Lastly, they were a Freelance Contributor for The Spectator.

Mark Tovey completed their A-levels at Exeter College, where they studied Chemistry, Biology, and English Language. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics at the University of Sussex from 2013 to 2016. In 2017, they attended Brighton Journalist Works and obtained their NCTJ qualification in Journalism.
